God is our refuge and our strength
ever our help in troubled times
we will not fear, though times are tough
the mountains fall, the waters roar
we will not fear
into the city of our God
where dwells the highest of the high
therein the rivers make it glad
God is within her, she'll not fall
God is within and will not fall
He is our help at break of day
He is our help at break of day

come and see what the Lord has done
the desolations brought upon the earth
he makes wars cease
he breaks the bow
he burns the shields with fire

This psalm is the 46th in the Book of Psalms. God is our refuge and our strength - a very present help in trouble. The song may have been composed after David defeated the enemies of Ancient Israel
